27 May, Minsk /Tatsiana Pastushenka - BELTA/. The status of the Republican Festival of National Cultures, which will be held in Grodno for the eighth time from 4 to 6 June, will not change. This was announced today at a press conference in Minsk by the Head of the Department of Culture of the Grodno Regional Executive Committee, Alyaksandr Loyka, as reported by a BELTA correspondent. "The most frequent question asked by journalists concerns whether the Republican Festival of National Cultures will become international. Currently, the festival is held at the republican level, and this status will not change. After all, the very idea of the festival is aimed at uniting representatives of all nationalities living in our country under the Belarusian flag," said Alyaksandr Loyka. He also added that the idea of the 65th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War runs like a red thread through all festival events. The unified motto of the festival – "Victory Forged Together" – signifies the unity of Belarusians with representatives of various nationalities. -0-
