26 May, Minsk /Vladimir Matveev - BELTA/. Import duties on cars for individuals into Belarus will remain at the previous level from July 1. This was announced today to journalists in the House of Representatives by the Chairman of the State Customs Committee of Belarus, Alexander Shpilevsky, BELTA correspondent reports.
"We have similar positions with Kazakhstan, but Russia is set to introduce customs duties that exist for legal entities. I think this issue will not be resolved from July 1," said Alexander Shpilevsky.
Thus, this issue will be formalized as an exception to the regime of a unified customs territory. "Unless we agree otherwise," added the Chairman of the SCC.
In addition, it is most likely that the exception for oil and oil products will remain, as the Russian side is not changing its position on this issue, noted Alexander Shpilevsky.-0-
