The main events of its third day took place in Mogilev, as reported to BelTA by the press service of the Belarusian Football Federation. The pupils of Mogilev's Children and Youth Sports School No. 7 and the special school for children from disadvantaged families were particularly fortunate, as they were visited by the head coach of the Belarusian national team, Bernd Stange, and his assistant, Harald Irmscher. The German specialists not only trained with the young footballers on the pitch but also presented them with commemorative gifts, signed autographs, and took photos with the delighted children and their coaches. Yuri Varlamov, a coach at Children and Youth Sports School No. 7 who assisted the guests with the training session, was very pleased with the event, as it is extremely rare to have the opportunity to work with such experienced colleagues and seek their advice. Bernd Stange was also happy to interact with the future football stars and their mentors. He emphasized that great attention must be paid to the development of children's and youth football, as there will be no further growth without it. Following this, a friendly football match took place between the capital's Mass Football Ambassadors team and veterans of the Mogilev region. The interesting match ended in a hard-fought draw – 4:4. The visiting team included former well-known footballers such as Yuri Shukanov, Andrei Shalimo, Sergei Yaskovich, and Alexander Vyazhevich, who competed on equal terms with Mogilev's Vitaly Sergushkov, Vitaly Panchin, Vyacheslav Kolochinsky, and other masters. Similar events were previously held in the Brest and Grodno regions, and today they continue in the Vitebsk region. First, a tribute was paid to Vyacheslav Artemov, the bronze medalist of the 1954 USSR Championship, who will celebrate his 80th birthday next year. He was presented with an honorary diploma from the BFA, a monetary award, and an invitation to the final match of the 2010 Belarus Cup. Despite his considerable age, the veteran stated that if his health permits, he will travel to Minsk on May 23 for the decisive cup game between BATE Borisov and Torpedo Zhodino. Additionally, an artificial mini-pitch was opened today in Chashniki, and the pupils of the local sports school received footballs and equipment as gifts. -0-
